Who we are

Since opening in 2013 as Sheffield's first nursery based on the forest school ethos, we have developed the space and have three welcoming spaces: the Nest, which caters to our youngest children under two; the Den, designed for children aged two to three; and the Woodland Room, our pre-school area for children aged three until they start school.

Each room follows a tailored sequential curriculum aimed at nurturing key skills and knowledge, ensuring children have a smooth transition as they progress through nursery and eventually move on.

For example, for our younger ones, we concentrate on essential areas of development, especially promoting independence, emotional literacy, and language skills. By the Woodland Room, we build on these foundations to enhance children's self-help skills, emotional regulation, and language development, ensuring they are ready for the exciting adventure of school, equipped with vital self-help abilities and the skills to make new friends.
